We've received hundreds of emails from troops all over the world. We don't have the time or space to post all of them on the web, but we read
and respond to every one of them. Every letter you (the troops) send to us is forwarded to each member of Liquid Blue. As many of you already
know, sending one letter to us often means you'll get three or four replies. The reason we do this is because what you do for our country
really matters to us. No matter how busy we are, if you take the time to write us we'll take the time to write back. You are heroes to us.
Liquid Blue put on a fantastic show, pumping up the audience to the point where nearly every Marine and guest was on the dance floor having a great time.
Normally at these events many of the younger Marines leave early, but Liquid Blue rocked the house to keep everyone there until closing.
I continue to hear from our Marines and guests that this was the best Marine Corps birthday celebration event they've attended
--thanks to Liquid Blue for making it happen!
-- Michael Boorstein, LtCol USMC, Commanding Officer VMM-166
Liquid Blue created an atmosphere and buzz about our event that usually does not get associated with a military ceremony.
Usually immediately after the event Marines depart and celebrate in their own way.
This year nearly every Marine from our unit stayed for an extra 3 hours and enjoyed Liquid Blue's energy and talent.
From the moment we booked them to the end of the performance, they were a pleasure to work with and be around.
I received some fantastic feedback from our Marines and their guests that it was the best ball they had been to.
Liquid Blue was a huge part of this success and we thank you for your support of this event and your support of Marines and all service members around the world!

was they really missed out.

"High quality, high energy and high spirits"
I just wanted to take a few minutes and thank you for the awesome show you put on
at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia earlier this year. It was definitely
the highlight of our 90 day tour and was a great way to end out our time
in the Desert. High quality, high energy and high spirits would mark
what was a wonderful performance and professional act with top notch
showmanship.

"my soldiers enjoyed it"
I wanted to thank you for your recent performance at Camp McGovern,
Bosnia. I've had the opportunity to see well over 50 MWR shows in over 18
months of deployed service, and I must tell you that your show was by far
the best and one of my favorites. I also know my soldiers enjoyed it as
much as I did.

"afternoon event at the TFC"
What a great time. We have been on the island for more than 20 years
and have never experienced what your group provided for our community.
Your music, singing, dancing and the entire entertainment package was just
simply great. The thing that topped it all off was what you did for the
kids. Your special afternoon event at the TFC was just wonderful.
Everyone, kids and adults alike, certainly enjoyed the event.

"the school children on the Island were very happy"
I just wanted to tell you that the school children on the Island were
very happy and excited about your show. I am a Grandmother of three of the
children that saw your show, and they loved all of you. I must tell you I
enjoyed you also. I know they will be looking for the pictures on the web sight. You
did a wonderful thing to put the show on for the school children. They
will be looking for your CD's I am sure.

"the impact their shows has on morale"
On behalf of all the military personnel at Joint Task Force-Bravo, Soto
Cano Air Base, Honduras, I would like to tell you how much "Liquid
Blue" meant to everyone. Because of the tragic events of September
11, 2001 the five members of the group were "locked down" along
with the military from 11-16 Sept 01. They understood the situation and
the need for increased security and followed all the restrictions without
a word of complaint. All five band members wanted to do something for the
morale of the military and as soon as the threat level was lowered they
did exactly that. I cannot even begin to tell you the impact their shows
has on morale. Both the band members and I were told numerous times during
their shows, and afterwards, how much the military appreciated what they
were doing; their shows were wonderful stress reducers and morale
boosters. "Liquid Blue" gave 110% to the audience and it was
returned in kind. They were consummate professionals as was evident in
their demeanor during this extremely tense and stressful period. They
asked nothing from anyone but gave everything they had to others. Joint
Task Force-Bravo would welcome Liquid Blue back at anytime.

"loaded with talent"
(This next letter was from a Lt. Col who had seen us at several different shows
with great sound and then came to a show where we had little com support,
and although he says they loved our show, he noticed a big difference)
I need to stress that Col. Pilling said that everyone thought you were
fantastic. I am cursed because I heard you at your best and after
that, nothing measures up. We need to get the supporting folks to
provide you an adequate system at each location. It doesn't do much
good to be loaded with talent if we can't deliver it to the audience.
Lt Col. Bob Colyer
"the morale impact you bring"
This goes out to everyone in Liquid Blue, a big THANX! I hope you guys
realize the morale impact you bring upon us when you play those shows.

"The girls are absolutely beautiful"
The whole band is outstanding! The girls are absolutely beautiful, with voices to match.

"ya'll cared for the soldiers"
Ya'll were great tonight I really enjoyed ya'lls show. It was the best one we
have had since I have been here. Ya'll actually showed that ya'll cared
for the soldiers and I believe that ya'll really do appreciate us. There
aint many people that would do what ya'll did by trusting us so much.
(referring to the BlueGirls stage diving!!)

"a wonderful time"
I really had a wonderful time at your show. It is not everyday we get to
have wonderful bands like you play for us. I couldn't of asked for a
better going away party than than the show you put on for us. Thank you
again and god bless.
Phillip
"You guys were the best!!!"
If there was anyway that I could get you and the rest of the band back
here, I'd do it in a heart beat! You guys were the best!!!

"a chance to regroup"
I hope to see you in the system again. Thanks for helping us to rest our
minds, even if it was only for a few hours at a time. That's important. It
gives a person a chance to regroup. Thanks Again.

"you rocked!"
I just saw you guys at Elmendorf AFB and you rocked!!!!!!!!

"such a professional performance on the road"
I just wanted to write and thank you very much for your performance onboard
the Stephen W. Groves this afternoon. It was a success, all of my sailors
greatly enjoyed your concert and it definitely was a highlight of this
deployment. I am amazed at your ability to put on such a professional
performance "on the road" in a foreign country with limited
resources. I salute you and your commitment to our Armed Forces.
Christopher Korn, XO FFG 29
"we enjoyed the show"
Just wanted to let yall know that we enjoyed the show on the back of the ship
this afternoon. Hopefully we can get another date for you guys on the
schedule before we head home.

"the girls were stage diving"
Last year about this time I saw you guys in Saudi Arabia and want to thank you
again for putting on a great show. I especially liked it when you did
Megadeath's "Symphony of Destruction" toward the end of the show
and also when the girls were stage diving. The little make-shift mosh pit
that we created made me feel like I was back home. I know this thank you
is about a year overdue, but as I am here in the desert again during yet
another holiday season, I started to think of the high points from last
year and your concert is one of my favorite memories.
SSgt Michael E Sloan
"Keep Rockin"
Hey Guys, I just wanted to say that you guys were great in Ecuador. I really
enjoyed the music and dancing. Keep Rockin', especially Little Mike.

"you all brought that touch of America to us"
Not sure if you remember me, but I was your "tour guide" when you visited Prince Sultan Air Base in
Saudi about a year ago.. Just wanted to let you guys (and blue
girls) know that it meant a lot to have you with us and I want to thank
you. Being so far from home is difficult enough, but you all
brought that touch of America to us. I want to tell you how much
we appreciated that and even though it's been almost a year, I haven't
forgotten. Again thanks for what you did and are still doing for
us in the military.Take care and God bless.
Jeff Garnand
"Continue cheering the troops"
Hi guys. I don't think you will remember me but my name is Biff I was the
Royal Air Force Police Officer that did the security of your concert at
Prince Sultan Air Base last year at the start of you tour. I am
presently stationed in London as a Police Instructor and I have the
pleasure of informing all of the new recruits that are graduating of the
fun we had in Saudi. Continue cheering the troops on as you do is so
well! From a thankful serviceman.
Biff
"Sergeant Cool"
Hi Nikki, Mandy and Dana, I am Sergeant Cool who gave you the certificates
when you all came over to Eagle Base and gave us fun and thrills in
August. You all were the most fun of any of the groups that came over. We
had a guy with us who didn't go to any of the other shows but I talked him
into going to see you all and he absolutely loved you. I hope I see you
all again and remember I love you.
Allen W. Johnson
Thanks to AFE, MWR, and USO
Thanks to AFE, MWR, and USO, troops around the world can count on American entertainers coming out to their remote
locations and bringing a little piece of home. If you've read this page
and are moved by the comments by the soldiers, please take the time to
write your congressmen and women to thank them for this program and to see that it is properly funded.
