How many of you would know that Liquid Blue
contributed their “If You Gotta Ask” to Ralph Nader’s ’04
campaign? Probably not many. While their success on CD Baby and elsewhere
on the Internet has been well received, they’re still making their way
into the other more mainstream circuits. Armed with their East Indian
instrumentation and catchy pop hooks, Liquid Blue is sure to conquer that
stage and arena as well. What I enjoy most about their music is the
content of lyric’s character. They discuss issues and political
landscapes that most Americans ignore out of their own ignorance and
laziness. Well Liquid Blue is having none of that; they choose to deliver
these important messages in a format that spans continents but has a home
with each one of us.
