BAND PROMOTES PEACE IN 60 COUNTRY TOUR,
RELEASES 1ST US ALBUM

Liquid Blue, a San Diego based world-pop act, has released a
controversial debut album, Supernova. Over the past three years the band has toured in
60 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, South & North America.
The band has caused quite a stir abroad including sold-out stadiums and
numerous TV appearances. "Our message of peace resonates all over the
world," states vocalist Scott Stephens, the founder of Liquid Blue. "We
are the underground, world-pop version of the Dixie Chicks," claims Nikki
Nova, the band's primary lead singer.
Independent Presidential candidate Ralph Nader is using a Liquid Blue
song (If You Gotta Ask) as his campaign theme song, but Stephens states, "We
love Ralph but our vote has to go to Kerry. This election is too important to
take any chances". Another song from the band (Making Up) is featured on
a newly released compilation entitled PEACE NOT WAR, which features major
artists such as Jurassic 5, Jane's Addiction and Sonic Youth.
Supernova was produced by two-time Grammy winner Joe Chiccarelli and is
available at CD Baby, where it has been one of the top-ten sellers for
the past month. The unique sound on Supernova was achieved by blending
western pop & rock with Middle Eastern instrumentation. The result is a
completely new musical genre, world-pop. The title track was recently awarded the
#1 Most Original Song, All-Time (Pop/Rock) at Garageband.com. The first
single, REAL, was named the Best Produced Song, Overall, All-Time at Garageband
and is getting increased radio play nationwide. Another song from Supernova,
RHYTHM OF LOVE, won the VH1 Song of the Year contest for August. The
band has now had five songs reach the number one position at Broadjam
