In 2009 and early 2010, Liquid Blue singer Nikki Green became the first
American to reach the finals of Chinese Idol. The contest is often
referred to as "MN Idol" or "Taiwanese Idol" as contestants sing in
Taiwanese. Preliminary events were held in China and the finals were held
in Malaysia. Above are five awards she won along the way at various stage
