Liquid Blue Opened the Nov 15th show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena The MGM Grand Arena has featured Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Britney Spears and others This show featured headliners Sammy Hagar and Styx Liquid Blue opened as well as played between the headlining acts There was about 6000 attendees for this very exclusive private event Just two nights earlier the Grand Arena had featured the Manny Pacquiao fight This was Liquid Blue's 16th trip to Vegas The last time the band was at the MGM was in 2002 in the lounge The BlueGirls went to Studio 54 after the show Several band members hung out with Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony at an after party The band had three appearances in Vegas in 2011 Styx played a solid set of their hits and featured original members James Young and Tommy Shaw Sammy was billed as "Sammy Hagar" (and not Chickenfoot) and had Michael Anthony on bass The Grovler and "Coop" rock the MGM 34 years later: Scott (and LB) with James Young.
