Haikou is the capital of Hainan Island, often called the Hawaii of China We performed at Hainan University Stadium with several of China's top acts The stadium was packed with 35,000 Chinese music fans The concert was recorded and broadcast by CCTV At 35,000, this was our 2nd largest concert attendance ever Much of the crowd was university students The crowd hoisted signs with photos of Liquid Blue More signs, from behind This was our 3rd trip to China in 2007 Waiting for our turn to perform We were greeted at our hotel by waiting fans One of the promotional posters for our performance The long view The huge stage had a long catwalk The photo shows the scale of just how big the stage was and it's just a small segment Layla receives flowers Haikou was the 2nd city we've played on Hainan Island. In February we visited Sanya.
