The Story Behind The Lyrics
Arms of Love is songs about introspection and meditation. The Arms of Love
represent the metaphysical arms of a higher power or of light, love,
etc.Meditation is non-denominational and can be practiced by anyone
for spiritual and physical benefit.
"If the earth were your body, you
would be able to feel the many areas where it is suffering. War, political
and economic oppression, famine, and pollution wreak havoc in so many
places. Every day, children are becoming blind from malnutrition, their
hands searching hopelessly through mounds of trash for a few ounces of
food.... Many people are aware of the world's suffering; their hearts are
filled with compassion. They know what needs to be done, and they engage
in political, social, and environmental work to try to change things. But
after a period of intense involvement, they may become discouraged if they
lack the strength needed to sustain a life of action. Real strength is not
in power, money, or weapons, but in deep, inner peace."

Text Version Of Lyrics
Arms Of Love
(Come Come Come Come) Into the arms of love, into the arms of love
(Come Come Come Come) Into the arms of love, into the arms of love
When you’re lonely and the world has left you cold,
Dive deep, and let the truth unfold
In the stillness, connect with who you are
Free yourself, ascending to the stars
It’s a feeling words cannot explain
See the light, release from all your pain
Abandon, all your thoughts of doubt and fear
Higher love, what you seek is always near
Sarbe bhabantu sukhi nah (may all beings be happy)
Sarbe santu niramayah (may all beings be healthy)
Sarbe bhadrani pashyantu (may all see goodwill)
Ma kashit dukkha bhag bhabet (let there by no misery in the world)
