The BlueGirls will appear at Staples Center three times in December, including appearances NBA's Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers and NHL's Los Angeles Kings. They also perform at Arrowhead Pond for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks of the NHL. In January the girls will sing for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden as well as the Boston Celtics at their new arena in Boston. Check the schedule for dates. Liquid Blue made history by being the first group to perform in the newly built Minhang Arena in Shanghai, China. The band sold out two consequtive shows with no opening act. The band performed a 90 minute set that included most of the songs from Supernova, including unplugged acoustic versions of "Real" and "If You Gotta Ask". Nikki Nova did a stunning cover of John Lennon's "Imagine" and the band also performed four Chinese songs, to the delight of the crowd. Hollywood mayor Johnny Grant accompanied the band at the start of the tour. |

Liquid Blue was back in China in November, with sold out shows at the new Minghan Arena in Shanghai. The band did three shows in Shanghai, selling out the 5000 seat arena twice (no other acts on the billing) and packing Century Plaza for one outdoor show. The 1st show was filmed for Chinese television. Fans lined up for autographs afterwards with newly purchased copies of Supernova in hand. |

The official Chinese release of Supernova has hit stores throughout China to coincide with the bands upcoming appearances there. The CD contains 11 tracks, including one song not on the original version, "Let The Music Move You". The CD cover (shown left) is also different from the original version. |

Back in 1997 the band went on their first of many overseas tours, to a resort in the Philippines. This year they traveled back to the same area and sponsored a local basketball team on the tiny island of Aliguay, in Mindinao. |

| Liquid Blue will be in Asia starting Sept 24th through the end of November. The band will visit Russia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea and more. The final leg of the tour (November) will be in China where the band will perform in large theaters and arenas in many Chinese cities. | Anything Else But (War) is the first music video from the Supernova album. Ironically, the song is not featured on recent versions of Supernova. Band members had very little input on direction of the video and are disappointed in the outcome. The low budget film can be viewed on this site starting 9/27/2005. |

Guests included Jackie Chan, Oliver Stone, Kevin Spacey, Pierce Brosnan, Fred Dryer and many others. Nikki Nova and Scott Stephens did a short performance at the gala event. |

| The band did several shows in Kansas City this week. Thursday night (Sept 1st) the BlueGirls performed the National Anthem at a Kansas City Royals MLB game. Actor Peter Falk threw out the first pitch and met with Nikki Nova prior to the game. Friday was a party night with band members Nikki, Rocket and Michael all sitting in with some great local bands. On Saturday night the group did a show at the prestigious Mission Hills Country Club. Baseball Hall of Fame member and Kansas City Legend George Brett was in attendance and became a fan. Sunday morning Scott, Michael and Nikki performed acoustically at Unity Village for the 10:30 morning service. Arms of Love, Making Up and Rhythm of Love have all been selected as semi-finalists in the pop/rock category of the 2005 Dallas Songwriters Song Contest. Liquid Blue is the only artist with three songs selected. Last year If You Gotta Ask won the pop category and Real won the best movie soundtrack category. 2005 winners will be announced in November. |

| Liquid Blue has been selected to perform at the 2005 China Shanghai International Arts Festival. The event is the most prestigious of all the Chinese festivals and features 45 artists from 29 countries. Only three artists from the USA will appear; The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, The New York City Ballet and Liquid Blue. An estimated crowd of 5000 showed up to witness the Liquid Blue headline performance in Douglas, Arizona for their 100th Anniversary Festival. Other acts included Atrest, New Direction, El Paisano & Tony Tee. The event was held at Veterans Memorial Park in Douglas on July 3rd. The Douglas daily newspaper featured the band on the cover of the June 30th paper. While in Douglas the band stayed at the famous Gadsden Hotel, build in 1907, which has twice been featured on Unsolved Mysteries due to it's reputation for being "haunted". |

The singer, Kelle Wardle, is fifteen years old and resides in Kelowna, British Columbia (population 103,000). Kelle is performing the song (among others) at shows throughout British Columbia. Nikki Nova performed the Star Spangled Banner at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday, June 29th. The game featured the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the San Diego Padres. This marked the 20th time members of Liquid Blue have sung the national anthem at pro sporting events. The Yamaha International Music Production Contest has announced their selections for semi-finalists for 2005. There were over 1000 songs entered in the contest and 45 were chosen as semi-finalists. Pretend was chosen in the rock category and Real was chosen in the category of Film Scoring/Orchestra/World. The judges included Randy Jackson (American Idol & 1000 gold albums), producer Don Davis (the Matrix, titanic), producer Justin Stanley, DJ Rap & Fourplay (Grammy Award winning jazz group).
