Liquid Blue will be performing at Tulalip Casino near Seattle on Dec 31st. This show is not open to the public. The band has did several publc shows in Washington State earlier this year. 2010 saw the band peform in 17 states and four countries.

Voting has commenced for the Spotlight Awards and Liquid Blue is a finalist for Entertainer of the Year (Ensemble). To cast your vote, click here or on the Spotlight Awards logo. The 2011 Finalists for the annual Spotlight Awards were selected from over 600 nominees, international as well as the United States, whose names were submitted to the nomination site on line. Since 1998 the Spotlight Awards have honored and celebrated event professionals as well as event industry companies for their exceptional body of work over the period of a year. The Spotlight Awards recognize 15 different categories of event professionalism. The recipients of the 2011 Spotlight Awards will be revealed on February 28, 2011 at MEET Las Vegas, produced by concept BAIT| Global Event and Floral Design of St. Petersburg, Florida at the Spotlight Awards Event. This black-tie awards event is the centerpiece of the Event Solutions Idea Factory conference and tradeshow.

Liquid Blue was selected to perform at the San Diego Chargers "Power Party" for the NFL Monday Night Football contest at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on November 22nd. The Chargers played host to the division rival Denver Broncos.

Liquid Blue performed at the Cap Cana Golf Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on November 20th. The concert was part of a week long event The 4th Dominican Global Film Festival. It featured concerts by Liza Minnelli in Santo Domingo and Liquid Blue in the beautiful resort area of Punta Cana. The President of the country, Leonel Fernandez and his wife Margarita, were in attendance for Liquid Blue's show. Other celebrities at the event included Barry Bonds. Coincidentally, DJ Layla Loxa was in the Dominican the same time as Liquid Blue. She is the DJ aboard the Star Princess cruise liner which made a stop in Santo Domingo on Friday, Nov 19th. The band spent two nights in the capital city staying at the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel in DR's historic Colonial City where Robert Redford stayed during the filming of "Havana". While in Punta Cana, the band stayed at the Golden Bear Resort which is also where President Fernandez stayed. During their time in Santo Domingo, the band visited the most historic area in America, Columbus Park and visited the home of Christopher Columbus. They also attended a Dominican Baseball game to watch the Tigre's del Licey, a team founded in 1907 that has won 22 championships. The first foul ball into the stands was caught by the Grovler! The emPower Posi Awards, were introduced in 2005, to honor the songwriters and artists who are spreading an emPowering message through music. Each year, the winners of the Posi Awards are announced at a gala awards ceremony featuring the powerful music and extraordinary artists who are transforming lives and helping to achieve peace on our planet. The Posi’s have grown from relatively few submissions in 2005 to about 500 songs submitted in 2010, indicating that the Posi Awards have quickly gained national attention. This year the Posi Awards gala will be held in Orlando, Florida, Jan 14-17, 2011. Earth Passport is featured on the 6th Annual emPower Music & Arts Posi Award Nominees CD. In 2008 Liquid Blue was won a Posi Award for the song "If You Gotta Ask" from Supernova. The band performed in Kansas City at "Posi-Palooza". Many band members who attended the event commented that the Posi-Palooza experience was one of the most meaningful weekends of their musical careers. This year, Liquid Blue is unable to attend due to conflicting shows in Phoenix and Dallas on the same weekend. We encourage anyone who can attend, do so. It's a great event!

Liquid Blue is one of many performers who have been confirmed to perform at the Festival of Enlightenment in Evergreen, Colorado next spring.  More information will be available in January. Earth Passport finished a ten-week appearance on the Billboard Charts this week as it fell off the Hot Dance Singles Sales Chart and the Hot Singles Sales Chart.  The Hot Singles Sales Chart is a Billboard "Hot-100" Chart. The song entered the chart at #40 on September 4th and peaked at #12 on October 9th. Earth Passport also charted for 8 weeks on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales Chart, peaking at #3. The song also won a Guinness World Record for "Song Sung in Most Languages (Billboard)". It was an exciting 10 weeks for the band, scoring their first Billboard hit. Liquid Blue is one of seven bands performing at the 2010 GoGirls Music Fest in San Diego on Friday, November 12th. The event is held at Queen Bee's in North Park. The event proceeds will go to the San Diego Humane Society. Along with some original music, Liquid Blue plans to do an "All-Vegetarian" set of music from artist who are or have been vegetarian. The bands new song, Earth Passport is a featured track on the new GoGirls compilation CD for 2011.

Liquid Blue has been chosen as a finalist in the Event Solutions Spotlight Awards for Entertainer of the Year, 2011. The Spotlight Awards are the premiere recognition event for the corporate event planning industry. Liquid Blue and other finalists will attend the Spotlight Awards Event at the new state-of-the-art MEET Las Vegas event facility on Monday, February 28th.

Liquid Blue was chosen to perform at the NACA Northeast Regional Conference held at the Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday, November 6th. The event featured some of the top alternative rock bands in the country. While in Hartford, the group visited the home of Mark Twain.

Liquid Blue made their first trip to Chicago and spent several days in the "windy city" with a Sat show. 

Liquid Blue played five days on the main stage as the headline act at the Georgia National Fair, October 13th - 17th. The event was held in Perry GA and during the week the group visited Plains GA (the hometown of President Jimmy Carter) as well as Habitat for Humanity and The Carter Center in Atlanta.

Liquid Blue has received a Guinness World Record for Earth Passport. The official title of the record is "Song Sung in the Most Languages - Billboard Charts". Earth Passport was sung in more languages than any song ever to reach the Billboard Charts. The languages include: English, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian, French, German and Tagalog. All six official United Nations languages are used in the song. Madonna also recorded a hit song in nine languages but they were spoken, not sung.

Earth Passport is once again the 3rd biggest selling dance song in the United State and #3 on Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales Chart. The song is still selling well in all regions of the country and is just on notch behind "OMG" by Usher Featuring will.I.am.

This week Earth Passport climbed to its highest position on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales Chart, reaching #12. Last week the song was at #20 and its previous high was #17.

Liquid Blue rocked a packed house at Fluxx Night Club on Friday Night. Fluxx was recently named San Diego's Best Night Club (SignOnSanDiego).

Earth Passport is now the 3rd biggest selling dance song in the United State and #3 on Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales Chart. The song is selling well in all regions of the country. The song has moved ahead of Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert and is one notch behind Usher.

Earth Passport moved up in the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales Chart to #17 in its 4th week on the chart.

Liquid Blue performed two shows at GrapeFest in Dallas, Texas on Sept 18th and 19th.

The Event Solutions Spotlight Awards are an annual awards presentation dedicated to recognizing the best and the brightest event professionals in the industry. The Awards are presented in a variety of categories and honor both individuals and companies for their body of work in the previous year. Liquid Blue was nominated for "Entertainer of the Year". The awards will be presented to the winners in Las Vegas in February, 2011.

Earth Passport entered a 2nd Billboard Chart this week, reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales Chart.

After remaining at #40 last week, Earth Passport has made a big jump in the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales Chart to #25 in its 3rd week on the chart.

Newport Beach CA hosted the Taste of Newport festival which featured the Gin Blossoms (Hey Jealousy) along with the LA All-Stars and Liquid Blue. 

Liquid Blue performed in La Jolla this weekend, following the legendary Beach Boys. The Beach Boys has had thirty-six U.S. Top 40 hits (the most of any U.S. rock band) and fifty-six Hot 100 hits, including four number-one singles. Rolling Stone magazine listed The Beach Boys as number 12 in the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. According to Billboard, in terms of singles and album sales, The Beach Boys are the No. 1 selling American band of all time.

The bands latest single, Earth Passport, has entered the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales Chart at #40. This is the first Billboard hit for Liquid Blue! The band was in Idaho when the news was announced and celebrated at a downtown wine bar.

On an unseasonably cold evening in Bend, Liquid Blue performed an outdoor show for a large crowd which included numerous celebrities such as Joe Montana. It was the first time the band played in Bend and hopefully not the last. Bend is the home of Vocal Booth, which is a company that makes vocal isolation booths for recording. Many artists are using including Lady Gaga & Liquid Blue. The owner of Vocal Booth, Calvin Mann, took the band for a great day of kayaking.

Baja California's biggest party, Sonido Lamas II, erupted at the Tijuana Country Club and lasted until sunrise. Liquid Blue headlined the sold-out event, which featured two elevator stages that lifted the BlueGirls high above the crowd, along with a great fireworks show. The friendly people of Mexico once again showed great hospitality towards the band and a feeling of unity pervaded our entire stay.

More than 4000 fans witnessed Liquid Blue's performance at the Taste of Edmonds concert near Seattle, Washington. The band "Asia" headlined the show performing their hit songs from the 80's.

With the band's big show in Tijuana coming up, Baja Breeze featured the group on their August issue which is distributed throughout Baja California as well as Southern CA. The July-August issue will be on newsstands by August 10th.

Liquid Blue rocked San Clemente on Sunday, August 8th in front of a large crowd. Weather was great and the fans were revved up!

The world's largest Motorcycle festival celebrates its 70th anniversary and Liquid Blue's very own DJ, Layla Loxa is the house DJ at Monkey Rock, the hottest club at Sturgis. DJ Layla performs every night of the rally, from August 9th to the 15th. Some of the acts performing at Sturgis are listed below. Monkey Rock hosts a VIP section for these bands nightly and DJ Layla will be performing. Attendance at the festival is estimated at over 500,000! While DJ Layla rock Sturgis, Liquid Blue is performing in Seattle with four shows the same week.

Liquid Blue made their first ever appearance in the Motor City of Detroit, playing four shows at Motor City Casino, Aug 3rd - Aug 6th. The group also made stops in Louisville KT, Cincinnati OH and Evansville IN.

Liquid Blue performed at Petco Park on July 3rd following the Padres largest crowd of their 2010 season. Over 40,000 fans attended the game and many stayed on hand for the concert. Liquid Blue has been part of San Diego Padres entertainment since 2001.

Wednesday night the band performed at the hottest new concert venue in Las Vegas, the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. "The Joint" is a rock club which has featured performances by the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, The Black Crowes, David Bowie, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, Nine Inch Nails, and The Killers. The Joint has been named Best New Major Concert Venue by Pollstar Magazine.

WorldFest in Van Nuys on Sunday, May 16th. WorldFest is a solar-powered celebration of music, the environment, animals and humanity. WorldFest 2010 Earth Day Festival was held at the beautiful outdoor setting of Woodley Park in Lake Balboa.

Liquid Blue will appears at Baja Mexico's #1 Night Club, Balak Disco, on Friday, April 30th. Balak is located walking distance from the border and the place to be in TJ. A media press conference will be held at Hotel Pueblo Amigo at 5:00 on Wednesday, April 21st.

Liquid Blue is the featured "Group of the Week" on Numubu, a hot new music site.

Earth Passport, the new single from Liquid Blue, has been chosen as a Top-10 finalist in the NZ Online Songwriting Competition in the Peace category.

The band's two new singles have both received and honorable mention in the Billboard World Song Contest for 2010.

April 22nd is Earth Day and Liquid Blue will commemorate the event by planting a Peace Pole. Peace poles symbolize the oneness of humanity and our common wish for a world at peace. Peace poles are a tradition that began 50 years ago. It is estimated that there are more than 200,000 Peace Poles that have been dedicated in nearly every country on Earth. Peace poles have been planted everywhere from the North Pole to the Gaza Strip. They have been dedicated by everyone from President Jimmy Carter to Mother Theresa. As there are monuments to war, these are monuments to peace. Peace Poles are now recognized as the most prominent international symbol and monument to peace. Peace Poles bear the message, May Peace Prevail On Earth in the languages of the world.

WAWA, the world renowned DJ duo from Poland, have remixed the band's recent single, Earth Passport. Before starting work on Earth Passport, WAWA recently completed work on Kylie Minogue's new single. They've mixed for Rikki Lee, Hilary Duff and many others with several #1 hits under their belts.

Bit Error, the world renowned DJ from Quebec, has remixed the band's recent single, Earth Passport. Bit Error's recent work includes remixes for Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce and more.

Legendary female rocker Joan Jett headlined the Phoenix Pride Festival on April 18th. Liquid Blue also appeared on the main stage just before Berlin and Joan Jett.

Grammy nominated producer and composer, Luigie Gonzalez has remixed the band's recent single, Earth Passport. Recent productions and remixes on the Billboard top 10 chart include artists Ricky Martin, Janet Jackson, Barbara Streisand, Madonna and Donna Summer.

The Green Chamber of San Diego County is hosted their kickoff event at the Belly Up Tavern featuring music from San Diego's only certified GREEN band, Liquid Blue.

The Parx Casino in Philadelphia hosts Liquid Blue April 8th thru the 11th. Parx is one of the hottest new casinos on the East Coast. Show starts at 7pm.

The BlueGirls performed "The Divas Tribute" at the House of Blues in San Diego's Gaslamp district on Saturday, April 3rd. Other tribute acts on the bill include Alice & the Cooper, Van Roth and Help.

San Diego Excellence in Energy presented the 6th annual SANDEE awards on March 25th at Joe & Vi Jacob Center. Liquid Blue was nominated for an award. The objective of the San Diego Excellence in Energy (SANDEE) Awards is to recognize outstanding projects and activities that have achieved significant energy savings and/or contributions toward the goals of the San Diego Regional Energy Strategy 2030 through the implementation of energy efficiency, energy conservation, renewable energy measures and CO2 reduction in San Diego County.

Eva Longoria Parker's glamorous nightclub Eve, hosted Liquid Blue on Monday, March 8th. Situated directly above Beso, it's the place to be seen on the Las Vegas Strip. A favorite party spot among Hollywood's hottest stars, Eve has hosted celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Prince, will.i.am, Vivica A. Fox, Regina King, Mario Lopez, AnnaLynne McCord, Avril Lavigne, Kendra Wilkinson Baskett and Hank Baskett, along with regular appearances by Eva and her husband, Tony Parker.

Legendary mixer Mark Needham was in the studio along with producer Robin DiMaggio to mix the band's single. The song will be featured on the upcoming "Earthsong" compilation CD from Humanitad. The song will be performed at the United Nations General Assembly in October 2010.

Nikki has made the Top-10 in Taiwanese Idol and will perform in Malaysia in the finals on Jan 9th.
