If utilized to your full advantage, Liquid Blue can help boost your bar
revenue, passenger satisfaction and most importantly, the ratings for
your entertainment department.
As has been stated by many cruise directors, Liquid Blue is not a
typical cruise ship lounge band. It's important to think "out of the
box" when Liquid Blue joins your ship.
Liquid Blue does not seek full-time employment on cruise ships. We
started with the Princess line in 2003 on the inaugural voyage of the
Island Princess. We also did the inaugural of the Sapphire in 2004.
Since then the band has performed on select itineraries in-between a
very busy land schedule.
Liquid Blue is an international recording and tour act and has won over
100 awards including "America's Best Dance Band" (at the National Music
Awards). Please review the official Band Bio on this web site to become
more familiar with the act.
The band will typically join your ship with six band members; 3 females
who sing and dance and a band of males composed of guitar, drums and
keyboards.
What Makes Liquid Blue Unique And Different From Other Cruise Ship Bands:
- Over 600 songs; a repertoire specifically for cruise ship passengers.
- More than 20 tribute shows. All capable of filling the Vista Lounge and some the Princess Theater.
- The BlueGirls have over 100 dance combos.
- Five lead vocalists.
- Three of the hottest female vocalists in the industry. Young, pretty and talented.
- Three of the ugliest guys you'll ever not want to see. Passengers will heave even in calm seas.
- A concern for your ratings and bar revenue and a track record of improving both of these on every ship.
Cost Effectiveness of Liquid Blue Entertainment:
While it's true Liquid Blue may cost slightly more than some lounge
bands, we are a bargain when you calculate the savings gained on hiring
fewer guest entertainers. We can do a show in the Vista or Princess
Theater at least every other night. Having Liquid Blue on a ship saves
the company the costs of air transportation and performer fees for
several guest ents.
How To Best Utilize Liquid Blue As Part of Your Entertainment Package:
- Schedule the band twice per week in the Vista lounge for tribute shows. You can cut down on the number of guest entertainers you bring on board.
- Schedule the band at least once per cruise or once every two weeks in the Princess Theater. Do this early on in the voyage.
- Run other tribute shows on most of the nights in the Explorers Lounge. Please make sure the billing for these is in bold font in the Princess Patter.
- Use the band for all theme nights. We have all the material needed for each and every theme night as well as the attire.
- Promote: Place a photo of the group alongside your guest entertainers. Interview the group for Princess TV. Play the band's promotional video on Princess TV.
- Work with the leader of Liquid Blue to create the most effective band schedule.
What We Kindly Ask For In Return For A Superior Product (These are requests and not demands):
- We appreciate guest ent cabins if possible. Sharing is okay if cabin space is an issue.
- We prefer to be exempt from drills.
